Convert your passion into profession, students told
Team L&M
In association with HT Pace, 6to16, the education wing of Life & More, organised a workshop on Career Counselling for the Class 12 students at Ram Eesh International School, Greater Noida.
While taking the workshop, Resource Person Upasana Kaura, senior educationist, spoke about a number of professions that students belonging to different streams – science, commerce and arts – can take up. She spoke about traditional professions as well as new-age careers, which students very enthusiastically listened to. “You can be anything that you want to become, but make sure that you follow it whole-heartedly,” said Kaura, advising children to take informed decision with confidence. She also guided students about the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) that provides a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country.
Always follow your heart when you decide on a career for yourself. It is always better better to convert your passion into profession as then you will never feel your job as “boring” no matter how old you get,” she remarked, adding that this is what gives ultimate happiness and success.
The students participated well and discussed their issues during the workshop as well as individually with the Counsellor.
