World’s first energy transmission garden Babuji Vanam opens at Kanha Shanti Vanam

Team L&M

Babuji Vanam, recognised as the world’s first energy transmission garden, was inaugurated at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad in partnership with the Ministry of Culture. The landmark event was inaugurated by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and witnessed participation from over 50,000 people on-site, while millions joined virtually from 165 countries.

A First-of-Its-Kind Thematic Spiritual Garden

The garden is designed as a unique confluence of nature, spirituality, and ecological planning. It features around forty species of trees believed to absorb and radiate Pranahuti, the yogic transmission associated with inner nourishment and meditation.

At its centre lies a thoughtfully designed water body symbolising the origin of creation. The entire landscape is developed with a strong focus on sustainability, ensuring efficient water harvesting and natural conservation.

Eco-Design Rooted in Nature and Well-Being

Every element of Babuji Vanam is planned with environmental and sensory harmony in mind:

  • Gravel pathways designed as acupressure walkways
  • Percolation pits and gentle slopes to channel rainwater into a holding pond
  • Medicinal plant species such as Neem, Red Sandalwood, Tulsi, and Tropical Almond
  • Biodiversity zones that support birds and local fauna
  • A cow pen integrated to encourage interaction with nature and animals
  • Stone trails and hedgerows designed for acoustic calm and peaceful reflection

Visitors are encouraged to sit in silence and experience the subtle energy of the space, supporting deeper inner stillness and mindfulness.

Spiritual Experience and Inner Silence

The garden promotes a structured experience of silence, intended to help visitors move closer to inner awareness and contemplation. This practice aligns with the principles of Sahaj Marg meditation, encouraging simplicity, stillness, and self-reflection.

A curated exhibition on the life of Babuji Maharaj was also showcased, featuring rare artifacts, photographs, and memorabilia. A digital version of the exhibition is available globally, extending the experience to audiences across 165 countries.

Message from Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness

Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, shared insights on inner transformation and spiritual practice:

“The past and future keep us bound. Move your attention to the Source. To arrive at a clean state free from samskaras, Babuji designed the system of Sahaj Marg. He made meditation easier through Pranahuti or yogic transmission.”

He emphasised that true progress lies in transcending past conditioning and future desires to reach a state of inner clarity and balance.
