Health and wellness provider Indus Health Plus has announced a strategic collaboration with SRL Diagnostic (India) Pvt Ltd to expand access to COVID-19 detection testing services across India. The partnership aims to strengthen early diagnosis, prevention, and control of COVID-19 transmission through extensive testing facilities.
Expanded COVID-19 Testing Across Multiple Cities
In response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Indus Health Plus has extended its testing services to key locations including Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Goa. In the initial phase, the company has partnered with Suburban Diagnostics to facilitate testing services in Mumbai and Pune.
To improve accessibility, users can schedule appointments and make payments directly through the Indus Health Plus website or via phone support. Sample collection is conducted by trained professionals from SRL Diagnostics, either through home collection or at designated diagnostic centres. In Mumbai and Pune, both SRL Diagnostics and Suburban Diagnostics are operational for testing services.
Government-Compliant Testing Process
As per government guidelines, individuals must provide:
- A valid prescription from a registered physician
- A government-issued photo ID with address proof
All COVID-19 tests are conducted using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technology, as mandated by health authorities.
Certified phlebotomists collect samples from patients’ homes while strictly following ICMR safety protocols, including proper precautions during throat and nasal swab collection. Test samples are then sent to authorised laboratories for analysis, with reports delivered within 24–48 hours of sample collection.
Digital Self-Assessment Tool for Early Screening
To further support public health efforts, Indus Health Plus has integrated a COVID-19 self-screening chatbot on its website. The tool helps users perform a preliminary symptom-based assessment and guides them on the next steps if required.

This virtual assistant uses structured Q&A-based screening aligned with official health guidelines. It helps reduce panic and anxiety by providing quick preliminary guidance based on reported symptoms.
