A workshop on Soft Skills was conducted for the students of classes V and VI at Rukmini Devi Public School. The resource person, Upasana Kaura, began the workshop through an ice-breaking activity where the students were asked as to how they move about, talk, behave and respond to situations.
Thereafter, the importance of soft skills in our lives was explained to them. They were also briefed about IQ and EQ, both of which play a significant role in defining an individual’s personality along with academics. Various aspects of EQ were also talked about like appropriate body language, good posture, how you stand and sit, your gestures, making eye contact and more. The children were curious to know how they should behave in a particular situation about which resource person briefed them.
The workshop was organised by 6to16, the education wing of Life & More in association with HT Pace.
