Singapore Launches Bird Paradise: A Must-Visit Attraction for Indian Travellers

Team L&M

Singapore is set to welcome visitors with the soft opening of Bird Paradise on May 8, 2023. Located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve in northern Singapore, the new park joins other iconic attractions like the Night Safari, River Wonders, and Singapore Zoo, offering families and nature lovers an immersive wildlife experience.

Adjacent to Bird Paradise is Mandai Wildlife West, a new ungated public area featuring playgrounds, dining, and retail options. Serving as the gateway to the park, this area enhances visitor convenience while providing a family-friendly environment.

Explore Bird Paradise’s Unique Features

Bird Paradise features eight large walk-through aviaries, each representing different habitats around the world. Visitors can enjoy vibrant sights, sounds, and natural behaviors of diverse bird species. Popular feeding sessions return with new species, including Starlings, African Hornbills, Barbets, Pelicans, and Lories. All proceeds from feedings support regional conservation projects led by Mandai Wildlife Group.

Singapore Attractions for Indian Travellers

Indian travellers are increasingly seeking unique and engaging experiences. Alongside Bird Paradise, Singapore offers attractions such as the Singapore Cable Car, now featuring Pokémon-themed cabins, and Sentosa, which is set to unveil Sentosa Sensoryscape, a multi-sensory experience transforming the island into a next-generation leisure destination.

Exclusive Rewards and Travel Incentives

To encourage exploration, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched SingapoRewards, offering nearly 40 complimentary “off-the-beaten-path” experiences for international visitors. This initiative allows Indian travellers to enjoy unique experiences across Singapore while planning their holidays.

Singapore: A Preferred Destination for Indian Tourists

India continues to be a key source market for Singapore, with 686,000 Indian visitors in 2022, making India the second-largest contributor to global arrivals. Direct flights from 16 Indian cities make Singapore highly accessible, offering a seamless travel experience for families, adventure seekers, and culture enthusiasts alike.

GB Srithar, Regional Director, India, Middle East, South Asia, and Africa, emphasizes, “With world-class attractions like Bird Paradise and SingapoRewards, Indian travellers have an array of experiences to choose from. These offerings, coupled with high-quality facilities, ensure memorable and picture-perfect family holidays in Singapore.”

Plan Your Unforgettable Singapore Holiday

From immersive wildlife adventures to modern attractions and exclusive travel incentives, Singapore is perfectly poised to welcome Indian travellers this summer and beyond. Bird Paradise and other unique experiences make it a must-visit destination for families, adventure seekers, and nature enthusiasts.
