Sattu Cashew Barfi

 Ingredients

 250 gm. chana sattu

200 gm ghee

175 gm or according to taste coarse sugar (bhura chini)

15-20 finely chopped cashew nut

1 tsp. cardamom powder

Steps

Take wok, heat ghee on medium flame. Add Chana Sattu and roast it on low flame. Sauté nicely. Stir continuously until becomes aromatic flavor. Turn off the gas.

Keep aside roasted Sattu dough for cooling in room temperature. Add coarse sugar, cardamom powder and Cashew Nuts.

Mix well with spatula or hands. Put it in a small tray and spread the mixture. Make shape of Barfi on flat tray, now delicious Sattu Cashew Barfi is ready to serve.

Kiwi Ki Barfi

Ingredients:-

For kiwi sauce:

Ripened Kiwis peeled and crushed or finely chopped and slice                5 nos

Sugar                                                                                                                      1/3 cup

For Barfi:

1 cup chenna

1½ cup full cream milk

1½ cup milk powder

1 tsp cardamom powder

1 cup sugar

For garnish:

Slivered almonds and pistachios

Saffron strands

Steps

In a heavy bottom pan, combine kiwi and sugar. Cook till it reaches the thick sauce consistency. Take it off the stove and keep it aside.

In another pan, combine full cream milk, milk powder, saffron and chenna and cook till it starts thickening, stir intermittently to avoid burning.

Now, add cooked kiwi, cardamom powder and sugar. Cook till thickens and leaves the pan to form soft dough. Take it off the heat

Spread it on a greased thali, tray or cake tin.

Allow it to cool completely till set.  Refrigerate.

Sattu Halwa

 Ingredients

1 kg Chana Sattu (roasted)

600 gm. Powdered Sugar

400 gm. Ghee melted

As needed dry fruits (Cashew, pista)

Steps

Sieve Chana Sattu and powdered sugar together in a big container and mix it properly

Now add hot melted ghee in it slowly so that all the three items get mixed properly.

After mixing, add dry fruits. Give it a shape or pat in containers. And decorate with dry fruits
