With an aim to offer a complete cure for various ailments, former naval officer Kamayani Naresh established Zyro Healthcare Pvt Ltd in 2015. His unique healthcare system, known as Zyropathy, focuses on natural healing through nutraceuticals and plant-based solutions.
In an interview with Life & More, Naresh shares insights into his journey, products, and vision.

How, why and when did you conceive Zyropathy? Tell us the story behind it in detail.
I never really “conceived” Zyropathy—it evolved naturally. My journey began in 1991 when I started using food supplements for personal health issues. The relief I experienced made me realise that many ailments are caused by deficiencies of essential nutrients.
Over time, I researched extensively and found that most health problems are not diseases but disorders caused by deficiencies. As I shared my learnings, more people began seeking advice. By 2007, over 10,000 individuals had benefitted.
We later published a book titled Healthy Living with Food Supplements. When registering a magazine, the term “Zyro”—meaning “Helping Humanity”—was coined. Eventually, this led to the creation of Zyropathy, a system dedicated to natural healing.
I initially invested ₹10 lakhs from my provident fund and took personal loans. After taking voluntary retirement from the Indian Navy in 2011, I formally established Zyro Healthcare Pvt Ltd in December 2015.
What products do you offer, and what kind of R&D goes into them?
Zyropathy uses two main product categories—food supplements and Zyro Naturals. Supplements address deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, and proteins, while Zyro Naturals, made from plant extracts, help cure ailments.
Our philosophy is rooted in natural healing—“you are what you eat.” Every product undergoes extensive research and safety testing. For instance, our product Preventika was developed over 14 years and helps prevent multiple ailments while boosting immunity.
Zyropathy focuses on four aspects of health—promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative—making it a comprehensive wellness solution.
Did you conduct market research before starting?
I have always been passionate about healthy living. Over time, I observed that while life expectancy has increased, the quality of life has declined. Modern medicine often focuses on symptom control rather than curing root causes.
Based on decades of experience, I realised there was a need for a natural, side-effect-free healthcare system. Hence, formal market research wasn’t necessary.
Should nutraceuticals be consumed under medical supervision?
Our products are OTC and can be consumed without supervision. However, for specific ailments, proper diagnosis and expert guidance are recommended to achieve the best results.
We provide detailed product information, and customers can reach out to Zyro Healthcare for personalised guidance.
How are your products priced?
Our products are priced higher because we focus on quality rather than mass production. Raw materials are sourced carefully from across India, ensuring no harmful ingredients are used.
Prices typically range between ₹600 and ₹1200, while specialised products like Preventika are priced higher due to extensive research.
What makes Zyropathy different from competitors?
Zyropathy is a complete wellness system that addresses root causes rather than symptoms. Our natural formulations not only treat ailments but also improve overall health without side effects.
The key difference lies in practical application and experience. While many rely on theoretical knowledge, Zyropathy is built on decades of real-world results.
How do you see the nutraceutical market growing in the next 5–10 years?
The nutraceutical market is growing rapidly. Between January 2020 and May 2021, Indians spent nearly ₹15,000 crore on supplements.
With increasing awareness about preventive healthcare, the market is expected to grow significantly. Nutraceuticals are becoming an essential part of modern lifestyles.
What are your future plans?
We aim to revolutionise healthcare by integrating Zyropathy with existing medical systems. While modern medicine will handle emergencies and symptom control, Zyropathy will focus on curing ailments.
We are exploring an enterprise model but will prioritise patient health over rapid expansion.
