LifeMeet – Ranjana Gauhar, Odissi Exponent

 

On the occasion of World Dance Day, Odissi exponent Ranjana Gauhar, the recipient of Padma Shri and Sangeet Natak Akademi award, says that each and everyone of us must learn some for of classical art. “It will not only keep our culture alive but also be a good for you,” she says. As a mark of celebrating the World Dance Day, she presented a dance recital – the 15th edition of her annual presentation, ‘Su-Tarang’ with 32 students of her dance academy (Utsav Educational & Cultural Society) last week at Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, New Delhi.
