There is nothing to not like in Turmeric. Want wrinkle-free skin? Turmeric. Want tan-free skin? Turmeric. Turmeric, for centuries, has been known for its healing properties and skin-enhancing benefits.
Since it is easily available in every Indian household, it is the go-to skincare treatment for many of us. Let us look at some of the best skin care packs made with turmeric.

Anti-aging Face Pack
Boil one medium-sized potato and one small carrot. Cut them into small pieces and then mash them together. Next, add a pinch of turmeric and mix everything nicely. Spread an even layer of this face pack all over the face and neck. Allow it to sit on the skin for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

Acne-free Face Pack
Blend one tablespoon of lemon juice, two tablespoons of cucumber juice, a pinch of turmeric, and two tablespoons of potato juice. Apply this mixture to your face and let it dry out. Once it becomes crusty, wash your face with cool water. Apply it twice a week for all the ingredients to help you kill the bacteria and have clogged-free pores.

For Glowing Skin
Take a tomato, and mix it with ¼ spoon of turmeric powder and one teaspoon of sandalwood powder. Make a paste and apply it uniformly on the face. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse.

For Dull & Tired Skin
Mix one tablespoon of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric, squeeze half a lemon, fresh cream, and two drops of lavender essential oil. Apply this pack to your face; you can use this as an exfoliator or a skin-brightening pack. If using it as an exfoliator let the pack dry completely and then scrub it from your face, rinse it off after it is completely removed, and then apply a moisturiser. If using as a pack, let the pack semi-dry and then rinse it off, following it up with a moisturizer.

Get rid of facial hair
Mix one tablespoon of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric, aloe vera gel, fresh cream, and a squeeze of half lemon. Apply the pack on your face; you can also apply this all over your body. Make sure that the paste is thick and not watery. Use this twice a week for quick results.

No matter what season we are experiencing it is important to apply a natural face pack on our face that will give deep nourishment to the skin. It is just that with changes in the season, the ingredients will vary, in winter go for face packs that have milk or cream in them whereas in summer add lemon juice, turmeric, and rose water to your face packs. This will not only give a cooling effect but will also help you in keeping tanning at bay.
