L&T Financial Analysis
The company has multiple divisions like real estate, technology, B2B e-commerce, engineering, construction and manufacturing.
The retail portfolio of the group is projected to reach Rs 1,00,000 crores by fiscal year 2025-26. In the financial year 2023, the non-bank financing arm of the firm experienced a 35 per cent expansion.
As of April 2023, the company boasts of having a market cap of Rs 5,23,346 crores with L&T share price getting traded at Rs. 3700+ in April ‘24. A 15 per cent surge in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,947 crore in the quarter ending in December 2023 has also been reported.
The conglomerate has surpassed the performance of the BSE Sensex benchmark index which shows a consistent growth model being followed.

L&T Share Price Analysis

25.5 per cent of shares are under Foreign Institutional Investors (FII), 36.8 per cent of shares are with the public and 37.7 per cent are with Domestic Institutional Investors (DII).
L&T’s share price surged by over 63 per cent over the last year making analysts feel optimistic about the stock’s long-term prospects. The share continues to strengthen as it exhibited a gain of over 7 per cent in February 2024. Sensex, however, showed a modest uptick of just 1%.

Out of 32 analysts, 66 per cent suggest buying shares of this company, 22 per cent suggest that the shares have outperformed and only 6per cent suggest holding on to them. Investing in these shares seems a good idea because 0 per cent of analysts suggest that the shares are underperforming.
L&T also has a strong order pipeline worth Rs 6.27 lakh crore which is 29 per cent higher on a year-on-year basis. This is mainly because of a stark improvement in the hydrocarbon business in the international market. Analysts also suggest that investors who are holding onto the share must continue to do so as no reversal has been witnessed.
