BookMeet – When We Thrive, Our World Thrives by Connie K Chun and Vishal Talreja

 

Authors Connie K Chung and Vishal Talreja talk about the making of their book ‘When We Thrive, Our World Thrives’. The book contains moving, personal stories of young people with the NGO Dream a Dream, as also the growth of the NGO.

Connie is a former high school teacher, a former foster parent, and former associate director of the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Global Education Innovation Initiative. She also holds a doctorate in education.

Vishal Talreja co-founded Dream a Dream along with 11 others. He has co-authored four papers related to life skills in the Indian context. He is an Ashoka Fellow, an Eisenhower Fellow, a Kamalnayan Bajaj (Aspen) Fellow, and a Salzburg Global Fellow.
