Negative energy can build up anywhere, particularly during the current times when there is so much happening around. But the good thing is you don’t have to live with it. There are certain tools and techniques that you must use to dispel this energy and keep your space clean and vibrating with positivity.
Clutter
Your home reflects your life, If you have things strewn here and there, kept in an unorganised manner, it is a sign that the negative energy is seeping in. Stacks of dishes in the sink, books and DVDs left all over the place, dust on the carpets are all tell-tale signs that negative energy is collecting in your home.
TIP: Clean and clear your house daily – brooming, mopping, dusting. Keep everything stacked properly.
Lingering smells
If you get some foul smell without any apparent reason, it is a sign of negative energy. It may not be any strong or empowering smell, but some lingering smell.
TIP: Burning some sage or lemon incense sticks, or burn some sage or lemon essential oil in a diffuser.
Lots of arguments
Frequent arguments happening at home is a big sign of negative energy accumulation.
TIP: Everyone sit together and talk you heart out.
Forget to shop for essentials
When negative energy builds up in the home, you will forget to buy things that you need, especially the grocery items. You will constantly find yourself running out of whatever you need at the time.
TIP: Try some green tea and some fresh air, then sit down in the kitchen and work out precisely what you need to do to get back on track.
Having nightmares
Having bad dreams, or frequent nightmares is sure sign that negative energy is accumulating in your premises.
TIP: Meditate before going to sleep. Using a lavender spray or some herbal sleeping remedies to help keep you in a deep sleep.
Other remedies to remove negative energy from your home
Place bowls of salt around at different places, salt absorbs negative energy and keeps bad omens away.
Drink lime water. You can put half a lemon in your water container and everyone can drink that water through the day.
Have salt water bath. If you don’t have healing salts, use the salt you have at home. Salts have powerful absorbing effects and can suck the bad energy out of your body and aura, leaving you feeling revitalised and healthier.
Drink some lime water shortly before and after sitting in meditation to amplify and solidify the cleansing effects.
Make lime a part of your diet.
Place halved limes around your house, and throw them away when they turn brown/ black.
