What Is the Threefold Flame?

The threefold flame is the divine spark anchored in the sacred chamber of the heart, known in Sanskrit as Ananda-Khanda—the seat of inner joy. This flame, often referred to as Jyoti or Parkash, represents a sacred fire from the heart of the Divine that sustains physical and spiritual life.

It serves as your soul’s direct connection to the Supreme Source, making it a central concept in spiritual growth, mindfulness, and higher consciousness.

The Three Plumes of the Threefold Flame

The threefold flame consists of three distinct plumes, each representing a fundamental attribute of the Divine and aligning with the spiritual trinity:

• Blue Plume (Power) – Represents divine power and aligns with the Father principle or Brahma
• Yellow Plume (Wisdom) – Symbolises divine wisdom and aligns with the Son principle or Vishnu
• Pink Plume (Love) – Embodies divine love and aligns with the Holy Spirit or Shiva

By activating and balancing these three energies—power, wisdom, and love—you can align with your higher purpose and fulfil your spiritual potential.

Connection to Body, Mind, and Soul

The threefold flame also reflects the trinity within you:

• Body – Receives power to act with faith and divine intention
• Mind – Gains wisdom for clarity, understanding, and right action

The Reduction of the Threefold Flame

In earlier golden ages, before humanity drifted from divine awareness, the threefold flame was expansive and enveloped the entire being. This allowed unlimited access to divine energy and consciousness.

However, due to the misuse of free will over time, the flame diminished and now exists as a small spark—traditionally described as about one-sixteenth of an inch in size.

Why Balance the Threefold Flame Matters

Spiritual growth requires the balance of all three plumes:

• Expanding wisdom without equal love and power leads to imbalance
• Increasing power without wisdom and love can create disharmony
• Love must be supported by both wisdom and power to manifest fully
