Vedix comes with the goodness of Ayurveda to enrich your skin, hair
That Vedix skin and hair care products are carefully created by ace Ayurvedic physicians having a combined experience of five decades, I knew all along. I also knew that the products are created using customised approach Ayurveda is known for. What I wasn’t convinced much about is whether these products will suit my skin and hair or not. But using these products came as a pleasant surprise. Some of the products I used include Druta Vit C Brightening Lotion, Samrudh Hydrosooth Body Wash, Chitra Dewy Finish Body Oil and Tavas Non-Sticky Hair Fall Oil.
Rich and creamy, the Druta Vit C Brightening Lotion is very light-weight and keeps your skin well-hydrated. Each of its ingredients Saffron, Amla and Shea Butter is skin-friendly – while Saffron makes the skin glow, amla maintains it health, and Shea Butter conditions the skin. To top it all, its subtle fragrance keeps lingering for a long time. This lotion is good for normal to dry skin, and comes in an easy to operate bottle. And Rs 499 for a 300ml bottle is quite an economic buy, more so considering that it is an Ayurvedic formulation.
The Samrudh Hydrosooth Body Wash comes with the goodness of Lavender, Aloe and Vetiver. It is perfect for dry and dull skin – Aloe hydrates the skin, while Lavender soothes it and Vetiver helps in blood circulation.
The Chitra Dewy Finish Body Oil is good. It has Jatamansi, Udumbara and Elaichi. Daily massage helps make the skin firm with increased elasticity, reduces marks and deeply nourishes it. The oil penetrates deep into the layers of skin to provide micro-level hydration while keeping skin nourished and moisturized for a long time. This oil is good for all skin types. The only problem is that it is not leave-in oil. One has to have bath after 20-30 minutes of massage.
The hair oil pack contains four different kinds of oils. The Tavas Non-Sticky hair Fall Oil isn’t greasy, smells good and gets absorbed into the scalp quickly. One does not need continuous rubbing or massage. It also improved my scratchy scalp, while my hair seem better managed now.
The best thing is this hair oil came with three booster oils – Vikruth Amla Booster Oil, the Prabal Brahmi Booster Oil and the Saha Bhringraj Booster Oil – one can mix a few drops with the main oil to reap the goodness of Amla, Brahmi and Bhringarj.
