 Apeejay Stya Arts Fest showcases works by students and faculty members

A joint venture of three prominent Institutions of Apeejay Education viz Apeejay Stya University (Gurugram), Apeejay College of Fine Arts (Jalandhar) and Apeejay Institute of Design (New Delhi), the Aeejay Stya Arts Festival began today at Lalit Kala Akademi, Mandi House in New Delhi.

Being held with the idea of promoting the visual arts by upcoming artists, the festival has a vibrant galaxy of art forms, including paintings, sculptures, tapestries, terracottas, furniture, digital art and photography. These artworks are created by the faculty members as well as the students from the participating institutions.

The exhibition showcases a rich variety of media used by the artists to unleash their imagination. Marked with innovations and originality of expressions, the works on display provide a peep into the impressions and messages conveyed by the artists in a subtle and creative manner endowed with the finesse. The diverse media being employed with an eye for the minutest of details and nuances surely provides a significant learning experience to the art students, is a visual feast for the art lovers and gives an analytical perspective to the art critics.

“I am really excited to be a part of this vibrant exhibition. In fact I am grateful to ApeeJay Education for providing us this rare opportunity to showcase our creations at such a prestigious platform,” says Simran, a student participant in the show.
