Leisure Hotels Group opens boutique resort, Atman, in Dharamshala

Resort chain Leisure Hotels Group has launched its 29^th property, Atman, a premium resort at Dharamshala, in Himachal Pradesh. This is the group’s second property in Dharamshala, and the third property in Himachal Pradesh. The group also has presence in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh & Goa.

Atman is a sustainable resort, built in the local Himachali Kath-Kuni style of architecture with locally sourced materials. The resort is spread across four acres, with 18 premium rooms overlooking pristine green meadows of the Kangra valley.

Talking about the property, Vibhas Prasad, Director, Leisure Hotels Group said, “This is just another step towards the Group’s endeavor to model sustainable properties in ecological locations. Dharamshala is one of the popular tourist destinations, just a stone’s throw away from Mcleodganj and often cited as ‘Little Lhasa of India’. The destination is strife with Tibetan art, craft and vibrant colours.”

Atman is adorned with Himachali art and accessories. At just a 35-minute drive from the Airport, the resort is a haven for tourists offering excellent air and road connectivity with prominent locations in Northern India.

The resort features four categories of guest rooms with modern-day facilities and amenities along with multiple lawns and public areas. Some of its highlights are ‘L’attitude’, an All-Day Diner serving local and international fare, and ‘Fuzion’, a garden café & lounge serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages & experiential fusion cuisine that showcases Indian and local flavors with a twist.
