Indian Art Fair postponed to April-end

With Delhi Government putting up restrictions on cultural festivals and business-to-business exhibitions to curb the spread of Omicron variant, the biggest art festival of the Capital, Indian Art Fair 2022, stands postponed. The IAF was supposed to be held from February 3-6; it will now be held in between April 28 and May 1. “All the participants who registered for the February have agreed to show during the rescheduled dates,” says IAF Director Jaya Asokan, adding that in case the fair cannot be held in 2022 the galleries be given the option to roll their participation costs over to the next scheduled fair.
As many as 75 galleries and institutions had registered to exhibit at IAF 2022. This includes international galleries like neugerriemschneider (Berlin) and Grosvenor Gallery (London). The Indian galleries participating in the art fair include Chemould Prescott Road, Nature Morte and Chatterjee & Lal, Exhibit320, and Apre Art House.
