On the occasion of world Earth Day – April 22 – 6to16, the education wing of Life & More, organised a workshop for secondary class students at St Andrews Scots Senior School, IP Extension, Delhi. The workshop was organised in association with HT Pace.

The workshop was taken by Motivational Speaker Ashwani Kumar Sharma, wherein he talked about a number of pressing problems confronting the Mother Earth, from depleting quality of soil to rising pollution levels, from scarcity of water to conservation of natural resources.

“It is crucial that each of us contributes our bit towards conservation of our environment,” said Sharma adding that if we still remain oblivious to these pressing issues we might face a bleak future. “Earth is sustaining all life forms, hence it is our mother, and we must protect it,” said Sharma, exhorting students to use its resources conscientiously.

During the discussion, he also gave a number of tips to students whereby they can make a positive and tangible impact the earth. “Every small effort plays a very big role in maintaining the sanctity of green planet,” he remarked.

Students of various classes participated enthusiastically in the workshop. A number of students also made small posters on Earth Day, which they shared with the whole group.
