Berries 
Two of the most powerful agents that help combat stress and depression, vitamin C and antioxidants are present aplenty in all forms of berries, be it blueberries, cranberries, raspberries or strawberries. A handful of any of these berries should be eaten regularly, especially after breakfast.Apples As an apple is packed with high soluble fibre and antioxidants that balances blood sugar level and repairs inflammation of cells, an apple should be eaten, at least, once a day.Walnuts These are said to support brain health and reduce the symptoms of depression. In fact, walnuts are one of the richest plant based sources of Omega 3 fatty acids. Polyphenols in walnuts prevent memory loss and signs of brain ageing.

Fatty fish
