Madhureeta Anand is a Delhi-based Filmmaker, author, and driving force behind Phree For Safety, an app designed to empower women and ensure their safety. Such is her passion for women empowerment that even in her debut novel, Krishna Circus, she featured a female superhero confronting ecological destruction and gender imbalance. The book officially debuted at the prestigious Jaipur Literature Festival 2025 As a film Director, she is known for critically acclaimed films ‘Kajarya’, which talks about female infanticide, and ‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye‘ which talks about extra-marital relationship.
