Balendu Dwivedi is a highly acclaimed author known for his thought-provoking and socially relevant writings. Acclaimed His latest novel, “Badshah Salamat Hazir Hon..!”, was released in Delhi during the World Book Fair on February 8th 2025. His previous novels, “Via Fursatganj” and “Madaripur Junction,” have received critical acclaim and have been widely read and appreciated. “Madaripur Junction” won the prestigious Amritlal Nagar Sarjna Award in 2017 and has been translated into several languages, including English, Urdu, and Oriya. Born in Brahmapur village of Gorakhpur District in Uttar Pradesh (India), Dwivedi is a PCS Allied Services officer presently working as District Minority Welfare Officer at Govt. of UP.
