Sanat Kumara: The Ascended Master Who Brought Light to Earth
Long ago, Ascended Master Sanat Kumara voluntarily left his home planet, Venus. He wanted to assist humanity during a critical time in spiritual history. Earth’s inhabitants had descended to a primitive level, comparable to cavemen, and had lost connection with God.
At this point, the planet itself was at risk of spiritual dissolution, as there were few beings maintaining the spark of higher consciousness. His mission was to restore divine light and guide humanity back to spiritual evolution, ensuring that the path to enlightenment remained accessible to future generations.
Sanat Kumara Explains
Sanat Kumara has explained the prevailing situation of the people on earth at that time in his own words, “You call me Sanat Kumara, and you know me as the one who stood before the cosmic council known as the Council of the One Hundred and Forty and Four. You know me because you were witnesses to my plea made for and on behalf of the evolutions of earth who no longer knew the presence of the Lamb (Higher Mind, Krishna Consciousness) who by disobedience were cut off from the living Guru.
“You know me as the one who volunteered to embody the threefold flame within the earth unto the evolutions evolving within the seven planes of being – fire, air, water, and earth. The Cosmic Council had decreed the dissolution of earth and her evolutions because the souls of her children no longer worshiped the Trinity in the threefold flame of life burning upon the altar of the heart.*”

Petitioning The Cosmic Council
Ascended Master Sanat Kumara recounts that he petitioned the Cosmic Council to prevent the dissolution of Earth during a time of spiritual decline. His request was granted, allowing him to take incarnations on Earth to assist humanity. This was until people could reconnect with their spiritual quest and higher consciousness.
At that pivotal moment, 144,000 souls from Venus and other planets volunteered to accompany Sanat Kumara. This was a sacred mission. While many of these beings may not recall the event consciously in their outer minds. But, they retain a deep inner memory of their participation and divine service.
Sanat Kumara’s mission underscores the importance of spiritual guidance. It also underscores the interplanetary cooperation and divine intervention in restoring humanity’s connection to God.
