Sixth edition of Global Gitopadesh Summit to be held on Dec 6

Commemorating the auspicious day of Gita Jayanti, the third edition of the Global Gitopadesh Summit will be held on December 6, at Kanha Shanti Vanam. Located in the outskirts of Hyderabad, Kanha Shanti Vanam is the headquarters of Heartfulness. The event attracts participants from various corners of the country across different age groups. It is aimed at imparting the timeless wisdom of Bhagavad Gita and fostering inner peace, resilience and ethical living.
This year’s summit will be graced by the presence of Governor of Telangana Jishnu Dev Varma and Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. This year’s summit is themed as ‘हृदये माम् पश्यसि – See the Divinity in Your Heart’.
The Gitopadesh Summit will witness participation in Sloka Recitation, Storytelling, Poster-making activities for children. Insightful Talks by eminent speakers, Panel discussions and cultural extravaganza will be the chief highlights.
Participants will have access to free stay at the serene location of Kanha Shanti Vanam which also houses the largest meditation centre in the world.
Says Daaji, “The Bhagavad Gita is not a religious doctrine, but a way of life. It belongs to the entire mankind. We hope that the Gitopadesh summit will bring the inner transformation in terms of dealing with the life circumstances, taking on the challenges while maintaining equanimity, understand gain an ability to discriminate between the right and wrong, dutifulness and equanimity.”
Fostering collective consciousness
The Gitopadesh courses along with Heartfulness practices foster in children collective consciousness and mould them into future leaders.
As many as 2000 children from across India are expected to participate in the event. The event also marks the culmination of the Global Sloka Competition that saw participation of more than 5000 children across the globe and close to 150 Schools. The finalists of the Competition shall be awarded during the Event at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
