Anti-ragging mobile app launched by UGC

To help students register complaints to counter the menace of ragging in colleges and to give its new students a feeling of security, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched an Anti-Ragging Mobile App.

Earlier one had to visit the website for registering a complaint of ragging which caused a significant delay in lodging of a complaint but with this mobile app a student can register a complaint right-away. It will have a greater deterrent effect on those who indulge in ragging.

The new app works on android system on which students can log in and register their complaints immediately. As soon as a complaint is registered all the concerned officials will be informed immediately and action will start immediately.
