Obersving the World Menopause Day (October 18), HCMCT Manipal Hospital Dwarka, New Delhi, has launched a special ‘Me-No-Pause’ Clinic. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative to support women through one of the most vital phases of their lives – menopause. This specialised clinic is dedicated to addressing the unique health needs of women during and after menopause, offering comprehensive care. Further, it also offers expert guidance, and greater awareness to help them navigate this phase of life with confidence.
Highlighting the need for such a dedicated initiative, Dr. (Lt Col) Leena N Sreedhar, Chairman – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, HCMCT Manipal Hospital Dwarka, New Delhi, said, “Menopause is a natural biological transition, yet it remains one of the most neglected aspects of women’s health. Many women struggle silently with symptoms like mood changes, sleep disturbances, hot flashes, and bone loss, unaware that help is available. We aim to bridge this gap by offering evidence-based care, counselling, and long-term support. Our goal is to help women understand their bodies better, make informed health choices, and embrace this phase with confidence.”
As part of this initiative, the hospital has also introduced the ‘Me-No-Pause Clinic Card’. This is an exclusive card offering consultations with Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Cardiology, and Orthopaedics specialists at a special rate of ₹199. There are discounts on other services as well. This card can be availed on the last Sunday of every month, between 11 AM and 3 PM, at the hospital itself.
