Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated annually as a national holiday in the North American continent, is increasingly being celebrated in India as well now. The day, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, is meant to celebrate the harvest season and other blessings of the year gone by. This year it is being celebrated 0on November 24. Chicken Celery Mingle

Thanksgiving day recipes

Ingredients                                        Quantity
Smoked Chicken                                      240 gm
Celery                                                        50 gm
Mozzarella Cheese                                  80 gm
Spring Roll sheet                                     24 no
Prunes                                                       40 gm
Flour                                                          50 gm
Water                                                         100 ml

Method
Chop chicken and celery finely.
Now add grated mozzarella cheese and chopped prunes
Make a batter of coating consistency with flour and water.
Line spring roll sheet with chicken cheese mix and roll into cylinders
Seal ends with the batter.
Deep fry to golden color
Serve hot with garlic mayonnaise or tomato sauce.

 

Vegetable and Chicken Skewer

Ingredient                                    Quantity
Chicken breast                                  400 gm
Zucchini                                             240 gm
Onion                                                 240 gm
Red capsicum                                   240 gm
Yellow capsicum                              240 gm
Lemon                                                100 gm
Lettuce                                               100 gm
Salt                                                     10  gm
Black pepper crush                         05  gm
Olive oil                                             150 ml
Oregano herbs                                 05  gm
Bamboo sticks                                 32 no

Method
Soak bamboo stick in water for 10 to 20 minutes.
Cut chicken, zucchini, onion, red and yellow capsicums in to 1’’ squar
Take one mixing bowl and put olive oil, salt, crush black paper, oregano herbs and mix properly
Marinate the cut vegetables and put vegetable and chicken onto stick.|
Cook skewers on preheated grill until vegetables and chicken are tender, turning vegetables skewer one by one to cook properly
Best when served with lettuce and lemon wedge.

 

Coffee toffee Cheese cake

Ingredients                         Quantity
Kwark Cheese                           350 gm
Breakfast Sugar                        125 gm
Whipped Cream                       200 gm
Dark Chocolate (Melted )      125 gm
Milk                                            50 ml

Method
First mix the cream, cheese and sugar.
Mix the whipped cream and add all the ingredients mixed before to the Dark melted chocolate.
Lastly add milk and give it a nice mix for a desired consistency
Put the mixture in a star shaped mould and set it in a deep freezer.

Salmon Parcel on fruit bed

Ingredients                                             Quantity
Smoked salmon                                            04 slices
Double cream                                                30 gm
Vodka                                                              30 ml
Pineapple dices                                             10 gm
Papaya dices                                                  10 gm
Mango dices                                                   10 gm
Black grapes                                                   05 gm
Lemon                                                             Half
Green chilly chopped                                   01

Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Method
Whip cream on ice bed till it doubles in volume
Add half vodka, half lemon juice, half chopped chillies and seasoning
In a bowl add fruits, remaining lemon juice, chillies, vodka and season it
Arrange smoked salmon on flat plate. Top with thin layer of cream
Again top with salmon slice and cream. Repeat till salmon and cream is used
Arrange on a serving plate with fruits as bed and layered salmon on top,
