Keeping its promise to help visitors to the “Queen of  the Hills’ enjoy delectables from across India, The Fern Brentwood Resort, a retreat nestled amidst the tranquil hills of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand, has announced its fourth Food Festival The Pahadi Zaika. It is the latest authentic cuisine proposition offering hill cuisine from four different hill states of India.

Exploring the Culinary Delights of four of India’s Hill Stations namely Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Sikkim, Kashmir. Chefs will prepare an array of mouth-watering flavours in dishes from – Nadru ki shami, Gahat ki Galouti to Himachali Fried Patrode to piping hot. Momo

Arindam Bahel, General Manager at The Fern Brentwood Resort said “We always try to curate innovative programmes for our guests each time when they come to Mussoorie. This year we introduced the ‘flavours of India’ series of food festivals and “Pahadi Zaika” is the 4th such offer in the series. Our previous festivals have tickled your palate and received a stupendous response”.

Delivering mountain favourites from Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Sikkim & Kashmir. Pahadi Zaika will add a dash of mountain taste straight from the peaks. Food chosen to offer something for all comes from Mussoorie, Chakrata, Nainital, Chamba, Uttarkashi, Shimla, Manali, Dharchula, Joshimath, Kanatal, Laddakh, Kasauli Almora  & even Munnar.

This 11 -day culinary fiesta, will take place from August 14- August 25, 2024 and offers Pahadi specialities including Shorba’s, Soups, or Jhol’s to Pahadi rai ka Saag or Kandali ka Saag or Sakarkandi or Pahadi amrudh ki chaat to favourites Chutny’s or pickles, a variety of Daals to desserts that will offer suwakholi ki mashur jalebi, Gulgulle, tehri ki singore or Meethu bhatt.

The Main course will offer enough mouthwatering dishes that will leave patrons spoilt for choice and will include Kashmiri chicken masalaAloo ki Thichwanichatpate kathhal ki buji or Bhune Bakre ki Sikar or Sukha Mutton or even Paneer ki Bhurji

Known for its food across Mussoorie,  The Fern Brentwood, Mussoorie  will also feature music, entertainment, and activities for all ages, making it a fun-filled outing for the whole family. With ample seating areas and a laid-back ambiance, guests can unwind and soak in the festive atmosphere while creating cherished memories with their dads.
