Ram Van Gaman Path Tourist Circuit: Chhattisgarh Launches Spiritual Tourism Project
Team L&M
Chhattisgarh is set to launch its ambitious Ram Van Gaman Path Tourist Circuit on October 7, marking the first day of Navratri. This unique initiative aims to boost religious tourism in Chhattisgarh while preserving the cultural and spiritual legacy of Lord Rama.
A Journey Through Lord Ram’s Exile
According to mythology, Lord Rama, along with Lakshmana and Sita, spent a significant part of their exile in the forests of Chhattisgarh. It is believed that this land played a vital role in shaping Ram into Maryada Purushottam.
Chhattisgarh also holds emotional significance as the maternal home of his mother, Kaushalya. Over generations, local communities have preserved this connection through folk songs, stories, and traditions inspired by Lord Ram.
