Vipul Shah unveils Sunshine Pictures Digital, & Sunshine Pictures Music

Renowned filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah, known for his banner Sunshine Pictures, is now expanding his entertainment portfolio with the launch of Sunshine Pictures Digital and a new music label, Sunshine Music. This move marks the banner’s entry into the digital content space. Further, it strengthens its presence across multiple verticals and aligning with the rapidly evolving consumption patterns of audiences. Through these new ventures, Shah aims to broaden the brand’s creative footprint. Moreover it will position Sunshine Pictures as a dynamic, multi-format entertainment powerhouse.

Known for backing impactful cinema and memorable soundtracks, Shah has now set up a dedicated vertical to discover, nurture, and promote fresh musical talent. Shah launched his music vertical, Sunshine Music, in a special ceremony at Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple. It will offer free-to-watch web series that will be released consistently on their YouTube channel.

Opening doors for new creators

Sunshine Pictures Digital will open doors for new writers, creators, actors, and key technicians to showcase their talent on a strong and respected platform. The move to create free-to-watch web series ensures wider reach, making it easier for emerging talent to be discovered by large audiences. With Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s vision and Sanjay Upadhyay heading the digital wing, the structured leadership will help streamline opportunities for fresh creative minds. Sunshine Pictures’ legacy of successful films builds confidence that the same excellence will be extended to new and young talent in the digital space.

The project is co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, with music head Suresh Thomas overseeing the creative direction and rollout of the label’s first major release. Shah’s films are known for their soulful and melodious tracks, and his musical stories like Namastey London, London Dreams, Action Replayy, and Singh Is Kinng remain among the highest-rated for their music.

The digital wing will be led by Sanjay Upadhyay, the head of Sunshine Pictures Digital, and produced by Aashin A. Shah.
