Sindhu Classical Dance Festival 2018 to be held in Mumbai

A three-day dance festival, Sindhu Classical Dance Festival, organised by Sankhya Dance Company, will be held in Mumbai. To be held between April 13 and 15, the seventh edition aims to celebrate classical dance with its ideologies and promises to immerse audience in its artistic space. Started with the motive of giving sheer joy of the classical dance forms, the festival is spearheaded and curated by the creative duo Vaibhav Arekar and Sushant Jadhav. Sindhu Classical Dance Festival will host a variety of Indian classical dance performances. Many renowned and honoured artists like Rina Devi and troupe, Vaibhav Arekar, Sujata Nair, Ashim Bandhu & Troupe will be part of this prestigious festival.

While you can watch the Manipuri performance by Rina Devi and troupe and Margam, a solo Bharatanatyam recital by Vaibhav Arekar on April 13, the next day ie April 14 will witness Krishnagatha, a Bharatanatyam presentation by Sujata Nair from Mumbai and Pratibimb, a thematic presentation by Ashim Bandhu Bhattacharya and troupe from Kolkata. On April 15, Shrimant Yogi, a Bharatanatyam endeavour by Sankhya Dance Company.
