Tuk Tuk from Middle Class Love is a youthful and peppy number
Team L&M
Capturing young romance is one of the most unadulterated forms of music there is, say musicians. It looks like the makers of Middle Class Love have brought this very flavour in their film. The newest song from the album, Tuk Tuk, finds Prit Kamani and Eisha Singh in the middle of the night in a theme park, letting their hair down and living it up! Tuk Tuk is one of the album’s most peppy numbers, and captures the sense associated with being youthful and carefree. The lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed give it a no-care-in-the-world attitude of the youth. Doubling up as singer, and composer Himesh Reshammiya is joined by Payal Dev behind the mic.
Talking about the track, Himesh says, “Tuk Tuk is a fun, catchy number which is sure to make you tap your feet. The narrative of the film had to be taken forward with two friends bonding and having a great time without a care in the world and hence the song was conceptualized – to give a youthful vibe. I had a blast composing and singing this song.”
Set to release on September 16, Middle Class Love stars Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh and Kavya Thapar and is directed by Ratnaa Sinha. The film is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios.
