An evening of art, poetry and a book launch

The Luxury Chronicle and Prithvi Fine Art and Cultural Center hosted a special evening of art and poetry on August 17 at JW Marriott. The event was planned around the launch of the book, Musavvir Ka Khayal, by artist Sangeeta Gupta at the preview of the chic new venue, The Gallery Room at JW Marriott Aerocity. In this book of ink drawings, Sangeeta has written her poetry of short verses on the theme of love and longing with hand.

The event kicked off with welcome address by  General Manager JW Marriott Aerocity general manager Nitesh Gandhi followed by  The Luxury Chronicle CEO Neelima Agrawal who had organised the event. Musavvir Ka Khayal has a powerful foreword written by art advisor-curator and former head of arts & culture, British Council India Sushma K Bahl. In view of the tragic loss of ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was a great poet and orator, poetess Sangeeta Gupta paid her tribute to him.

Eminent persons of Delhi’s literati and glitterati attended the event. Seen at the event were eminent painter Stephanie Arpels and luxury consultant Francois Arpels, Padma Shri Raja & Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy, Shivani Wazir Pasrich, bureaucrats VK Duggal, Ravi Kumar and Abha, film star Mukesh Tyagi, Shahana Mukerjea, Anjali Sikka, RVG Newsvision CEO Vinod Kaul among others.
