Hyderabad is all set to host Hyderabad Literary Festival. The festival representing the cultural and artistic ethos as well as the vibrant culture of Cyberabad is being held at Hyderabad Public School from January 26-28.
Over 150 speakers belonging to different fields will participate in this three-day festival. Speakers include writers, artistes, scholars, film makers, journalists and publishers like Jnanpeeth awardee Chandrasekhara Kambara, film director Girish Kasaravalli, Ranga Sankara founder Arundhati Nag.
This is the eighth edition of the festival, being organised by the state government in association with Hyderabad Literary Trust. This time the guest nation is Spain while the language in focus is Kannada.
During the three-day-long event there will be conversations with authors, book reading sessions, panel discussions, workshops, screenings, exhibitions, book launches and cultural programmes in addition to art on street.
The festival is open to all and there is no entry free.
