Medanta puts up interactive installation ‘The Heart Journal’

In celebration of World Heart Day 2024, Medanta Hospitals, among the world’s leading cardiac care centres, has unveiled an interactive installation—The Heart Journal. This life-sized book-shaped exhibit aims to demystify heart health and raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases.

The Heart Journal opens to reveal two distinct pages: the left side detailing various heart conditions, while the right showcases a healthy heart. This unique design addresses a common misconception that the absence of symptoms guarantees a healthy heart.

At the heart of the installation is an interactive questionnaire that engages visitors in assessing their cardiovascular health. By answering a series of questions, participants receive a personalised “HeartScore” that provides insight into their 10-year risk projection for heart disease. This innovative approach helps individuals understand their likelihood of developing heart issues based on factors such as genetics, lifestyle habits, and environmental influences.

For those already diagnosed with heart conditions, the left side of the Journal highlights the latest advancements in cardiology. This section showcases cutting-edge therapies and treatment options, offering hope and information to patients and their families.

By providing an engaging, interactive experience, Medanta’s Heart Journal empowers visitors with knowledge about heart health. This World Heart Day, Medanta Hospitals invites the public to explore their heart!
