Team L&M
Apart from the sedentary lifestyle, the continuous WFH culture has given rise to a lot many other issues like mental stress, increasing feeling of boredom and irritability. All of these hamper productivity, but there are some things you can do to check this:
Change your seating
Try moving out of your bed when working, and keep a separate place for your work. Making your bed a permanent abode can affect your work, more so if the mattress is not good enough otherwise you will have health issues like headache, backache and muscle pain etc. If at all you have no choice other than your bed to work from, go for orthopaedic mattresses – a number of brands like Wakefit, SleepyPanda etc offer such mattresses.
Take frequent breaks
Don’t work for uninterrupted long hours, take breaks in between. Take a stroll in your lawn, balcony or move from one room to the other. Or play indoor games like cards, chess, ludo or solve Rubik cube.
Proper lighting
High-power tube lights and bright screen affect eyes which causes headache, fatigue, and blurred vision. Put on soft lights as these will easy on your eyes.
Add some colour
Warm colours, indoor plants, a flower vase with colourful flowers all increase positivity. Having a colourful painting or some interesting books near you also helps.
Snack healthy
Go for fruits, dry fruits, or even chocolates (black) – all these are healthy snacks that increase your attention span and productivity. Avoid sugar-based sweets, or fried potatoes.
