Amid family and friends
Aanoyah began writing around seven years of age. Ever since has been expressing her creativity through her words, penning down numerous stories and ideas. Her inquisitive mind is constantly seeking inspiration in the intricacies of how the world operates, and she skillfully transforms her observations into captivating narratives. Her stories often delve into themes of imagination, adventure, and the power of the human spirit.
While the young girl had always possessed a talent for words, an inspiration to bring out a book came from her father. Writing is her secret language, a medium through which she can be candid without any apprehension of judgment. In her maiden book, she has poured her heart, utilising words as a lifeline to navigate the turbulent seas of adolescence. It was a cathartic process, akin to discovering a hidden room amidst the chaos where she could be entirely herself. “Most authentic art originates from the deepest recesses of the soul,” she says, hoping that these poems would resonate with anyone who had ever felt lost or misunderstood. “Perhaps my words could provide a sense of companionship to those who felt like they were navigating life’s challenges alone. Because ultimately, sharing our vulnerabilities is what unites us all,” she adds.
