Team L&M
At 36, Deepak Sharma had decided that by the time he enters the fifth decade of his life, he would definitely quit his job and work for society. And this is what he wants everyone out there to do as well.
Sharma got associated with Udayan Care, an NGO that works for underprivileged kids in 2013 when he became Mentor-Father to girls at the Udayan Care Home for Girls, Greater Noida.
Sharma has written the story of his life – from his childhood till now – in his debut book Wings to Fly (Notion Press) which was released last month. Apart from his life, Sharma has also written the success stories of girls at home and other anecdotes, some in quite detail, which work as inspirational tales for those who read the book.
“One must live beyond self, and leave some imprints,” he says, “each person must contribute towards society in whichever way he/ she can.”
