To help all English medium schools, presently passing through a phase of uncertainty due to COVID-19, start their new academic year in April 2020, LEAD School is offering its LEAD School@Home solution. Beginning April 2, over one lakh students in the existing partner schools of LEAD are already scheduled to begin their new academic year.
With LEAD School@Home, students can attend classes from the safety of their home, through their parents’ phone or computer. Students from Class 1 to Class 9 can attend these classes. Even pre-primary parents can avail of LEAD School@Home to keep their toddlers engaged and learning.
“Schools and parents have been worried about the long break and its impact on the learning of their children. Our learning system and technology ensured that if children can’t come to school, we can take the school to children’s home! Now any school can begin its academic year with LEAD School@Home. All they need is to register on the LEAD School portal and our team will help them quickly get started. Schools can choose to begin their academic year on any one of three dates: April 2, April 6 or April 13. For parents and students, it is easy because they just need the LEAD Parent App to access all their classes, homework and assessments. It is almost as if the child is attending school from home,” shared Sumeet Mehta, co-founder and CEO, LEAD School.
LEAD School had opened its LEAD School@Home solution for all 800 of its partner schools in Mid-March itself. This exercise helped students finish their syllabus for last academic year online after state governments across the country announced school closures amid COVID-19 outbreak. Now, not only these partner schools, but also other schools can begin their new academic year through LEAD School@Home.
