Original artworks, priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 1 crore, by stalwarts like MF Husain, SH Raza, Satish Gujral, Paresh Maity, Abanindranath Tagore, Thota Vaikuntham, Krishen Khanna, A Ramachandran and Sakti Burman among others will be on display at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana in coordination with Masha Art on October 19 and 20. The first-of-its-kind two-day art showcase, The Regal Hues, is an exquisite curation of artworks.
Through the exhibition, Gurugram-based Masha Art strives to draw a straight line between art and the claim for it: creating a new category of “delicacy”, challenge the sensitivity of the senses, and leave stimulating thoughts in the viewer’s mind. A part of the proceeds earned shall be donated to the NGO ‘Heart 2 Heart’ which funds surgeries for children with congenital heart diseases.
Throwing light on the exhibition, co-founder, Masha Art, Ishita Kheterpal, said, “The exhibition will be paying tribute to master artists across India, who have sustained their passions and commitment to art since the early 20th century. These showcases are conducted across the country so as to instil diverse value, culture and exposure for our clientele.”
The exhibition also aims to bring to notice promising artists in India, highlighting their ardour in making India’s rich artistic tradition prosper.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Strategy Officer and member of co-founding team Shreyash Bajpai from Ludhiana, added, “We are associated with an NGO, Heart 2 Heart, which funds surgeries for children with congenital heart diseases. As a gesture of our social responsibility, a part of the exhibition earnings will be donated to the Foundation.”
