It is not every day that you get to experience the works of artists like Anjolie Ela Menon, Satish Gujral, Arpana Caur, Rameshwar Broota, Jatin Das, Gigi Scaria, Anupam Sud and many more under one roof. India at 70: Mapping the Canvas of Indian Post Modern and Contemporary Art, at 70 years of Indian Independence, curated by Gargi Seth, as part of ICCR’s Festival of India in Thailand, brings to you 70 fresh selected works by 36 of India’s finest visual artists whose practice spans an entire era paintings, sculpture, photographs and installation.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on April 13 by Kiran Nadar / Advait Gadanayak or both at Shridharani Gallery, Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi. It will end on April 22.
