A workshop on Entrepreneurship Skills was held at Joseph & Mary School in Burari yesterday, May 24. It was organised by 6to16, the education wing of Life & More in association with HT Pace.
Beginning with the usual pep talk which made the teachers comfortable, Resource Person Ashwani Kumar Sharma briefed them about the scope of various new domains available for the students to explore and set up their businesses. “They can this become leaders, capable of giving jobs rather than submitting their resumes for getting one,” he remarked.
“It is here where the role of teachers is important. You all need to explore and equip yourselves well regarding entrepreneurship options as per your subjects and educate students about these available arenas so that they can decide about what they can do with their individual passion and aptitude,” said Sharma.
Sharma also talked about the life journeys of a number of entrepreneurs. “Each journey is unique and full of hard work. I am sure students will feel motivated after hearing these stories from you,” he said.
The session ended with a Q& A session wherein Sharma satisfied the concerns of teachers, guiding them to keep updating themselves with new trends in education so that their students emerge as well-balanced global leaders.
