Kela – Banana
Kela (banana) is considered a pious plant, its leaves are used for pooja. It is believed that Lord Vishnu resides in this plant, and Thursday being the day of Vishnu, worshiping this plant on Thursdays has a great significance.
The banana leaf plant should be watered two to three times per week. Avoid overwatering by allowing the surface of the growing medium to dry slightly between watering.
Reduce the frequency of watering during the winter, when the plant is not actively growing.
