Zoya, the exquisite diamond boutique from the House of Tata, recently announced its collaboration with fashion designer Rahul Mishra for fashion’s most iconic showcase, Paris Fashion Week. Offering a sneak peek into the high couture and fine jewellery that will be presented on the runways of Paris at the end of this month, Rahul Mishra and Zoya showcased five signature looks from the designer’s stunning spring-summer collection, complemented by Zoya’s rare jewellery at the jewellery brand’s luxurious boutique in New Delhi. This collaboration was born from the inherent synergy between Zoya and the Rahul Mishra with both design houses excelling in translating sublime traditional craft into an authentically unique and modern design language with global perspective.

Zoya’s line of artistic collections, find inspiration from iconic cities, history, art, architecture, culture and fables. The muse is the Zoya woman in mind, someone who is aesthetically astute and very discerning. Events such as Paris Fashion week, and associations with designers like Rahul, who are also known for their authenticity and steadfast commitment to fine craftsmanship, are definitely of great interest to her, and thus to Zoya.

The beautiful preview presented three looks from the Spring-Summer 2020 showcase that will take place at the end of this month at the luxurious Palais de Tokyo venue in Paris. The synergy was evident from the way in which nature and architecture came together beautifully as the inspiration for the collections from both design houses.

The contemporary cuts were beautifully complemented by Zoya’s rare range of jewellery from its iconic collections. The seasons of Kashmir inspire Zoya’s Whispers from the Valley, where rows of tulips, orchids of green apples, snow-capped peaks and trees of the iconic Chinar inspire a stunning range.  Zoya’s 6299 Hollywood Blvd. is inspired by different eras that capture the glamour of Hollywood’s most iconic eras; from the essence of flapper fashion of the 1920s to the art deco of the 1950s and the red carpet looks of the 2000s. Pieces from the contemporary Italy inspired collection Pezzo D’Arte captured the timeless marvels of Italian architecture.
