A couple of months back, he won many a hearts when he featured in a song, Dil tod ke, from singer B Praak’s music video which received over 19 crore views on YouTube. And now, IAS officer-turned-actor Abhishek Singh will be revamping the Bandra Police Station under his initiative, World of Wardi. For his latest initiative, Singh has joined hands with noted interior designer Sussanne Khan who will redesign the police station at no cost.
Both Singh and Khan were at the Bandra Police Station Saturday morning to do recce before work takes off. Talking about World of Wardi, Singh said, “The initiative is about bringing citizens closer to the armed forces of our nation. Revamping the police stations is the first step. I’m glad Sussanne came forward to be a part of this cause. We will try to incorporate more police stations as we go along.”
Sussanne Khan added that she would like to take this initiative to redesign the iconic Bandra police station “pro bono as a small contribution from our side towards our wonderful police force.”
