 Celebrating creativity, encouraging design thinking

An exciting array of multiple public installations, exhibitions, talks, workshops and interactive experiences are up for grabs in the second edition of Bengaluru ByDesign which opened November 15. The festival celebrates creativity, encourages design thinking and is exploring the innovations in design today whilst also functioning as a platform for global creative dialogue, featuring strong participation from design professionals from across the world. The 10-day festival will be open until 24 November.

Spread across 10 venues in Bengaluru this year including key landmarks like Bangalore International Centre, Titan Campus, Electronic City, National Gallery of Modern Arts, Bengaluru, Workbench Projects, Ulsoor, CoWorks, Residency Road among others, the festival’s programming offers visitors a wide spectrum of public installations, exhibitions, each considering a distinct tenet of artistic design practice. Visitors will be exposed to international artists furthering the festival’s objective of promoting cross-cultural exchange and fostering global dialogue via the arts. The programming also responds to conversations within global design industry focussing on its importance in technology, evolving the dialogue on creative practices, and policy within the wider design community via panel discussions and workshops, whilst also addressing key issues and concerns in India’s society.
